Youth Development Innovation

We aim to support Africa’s young people to transition to further education and employment opportunities by uncovering effective, affordable, and inclusive solutions and by supporting the accelerated uptake of these solutions in low-income settings. We do this by focusing on two primary areas: First, we work with young people between the ages of 15-35 through skills development in social innovation, personal development, entrepreneurship and workplace skills. Second, we work to capacitate and nurture youth development ecosystems stakeholders to be more systemically impactful and effective.

Our goals:

  1. Work with young people between the ages of 15-35 to provide skills development in social innovation, personal development, entrepreneurship and general workplace skills;
  2. Build the capacity for systems thinking amongst stakeholders within the youth development ecosystem to enable them to work strategically and with impact;
  3. Develop short courses and executive education courses for youth development ecosystem organisations to inculcate and advance these skills;
  4. Create a space for dialogue between youth development ecosystem stakeholders and leaders in the private sector to identify and test experimental approaches to supporting youth.
