We believe that impact investing is one of today’s greatest driving forces in changing the world, and innovative finance is the toolbox we’ll use to ignite the change. Our Innovative Finance Initiative is built around the need to develop an impact-focused investment market in Sub-Saharan Africa, where social and environmental objectives are set and measured to demonstrate deliberate change.

Our approach is twofold: Develop the talent and knowledge that will shape the future of business and finance, and build the impact investing ecosystem by creating spaces and structures for collaboration.

Where the right tools don’t exist, we create them. We’re proud to have launched two of South Africa’s most innovative impact investing structures yet: The Green Outcomes Fund and the Early Childhood Development Social Impact Bond Innovation Fund.

Our mission is to:
