The UCT GSB Developing Women in Leadership course is designed for aspiring women leaders who are interested in self-development, career advancement and personal fulfilment. This unique five-day course equips women to become more self-aware, connect more authentically with others and to successfully manage relationships – from direct reports to peers, managers and other stakeholders.
Although the challenges facing female leaders are not unique, the fact remains that there are fewer women in leadership positions than men. The UCT GSB Developing Women in Leadership course empowers aspiring women leaders to do as Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg advises in Lean In: to "keep their hands up". It builds a foundation for skills such as networking, collaborating, communicating and leading with confidence.
Delegates are guided through building relationships as a leadership practice and given the tools to move forward in leadership, including the support of a learning companion.
The UCT GSB is globally recognised and one of less than 100 business schools in the world to be triple-crown accredited.
