Brown Bag Series

The Bertha Centre is pleased to announce the launch of the Bertha Centre Brown Bag series. The Brown Bag sessions will explore how Central Action Networks (CANs), a rapid community-led response to the COVID-19 pandemic, are an example of an alternative model for collaborating, advocating, and mobilising resources.

The purpose of this series of lunchtime talks is to provide a regular forum for the development, synthesis, and exchange of ideas on systems thinking innovation and social  justice.

The series will launch on 8 October 2021 with talks held on Fridays at 12h30 SAST on a bi-monthly basis during the first and second semesters of the University of Cape Town (UCT) academic year.
