Terrence is a qualified optometrist with over a decade of experience in clinical practice, practice management and helping to fight avoidable blindness in the Kingdom of Eswatini, through the provision of affordable optometric services. Currently in private practice, he is passionate about eye care and how eye health services can be made available, affordable and accessible to all, in Africa. Terrence holds a Bachelor of Optometry, Post-Grad Diploma in Business Management and an MBA, and is also an alumnus of the Barack Obama- founded Mandela Young African Leader Initiative (YALI). Souza currently manages Spec-Savers practices in Eswatini - where he has helped grow the brand to be the number one eye-care service provider in the Kingdom. Social entrepreneurship, innovation and social impact are his focus areas and believes that innovation within healthcare will assist to bring down the cost while also improving access for all.
