With a fervor for fostering positive change, she passionately engages in social impact initiatives and shares a commitment to empowering communities. Courtney has been actively involved with various organizations dedicated to enhancing the lives of individuals with intellectual disabilities. Serving as a director of a non-profit for the last several years, she has played a pivotal role in the organization's mission, contributing to the operation of a care home for adults with intellectual disabilities.

An avid reader and intrepid adventurer, Courtney conquered the towering heights of Mt. Kilimanjaro, embodying a love for the outdoors and a tenacious spirit. Recognizing the transformative power of human endeavors, she aspires to leverage an MBA acumen, alongside legal proficiency, to transition into a role focused on social impact.

Echoing the sentiments of her fellow Bertha scholars, Courtney envisions social entrepreneurship and innovation as avenues to amplify the voices of individuals.
